Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about ImageBun.

How does the hourly limit work?
Free users can convert up to 10 files per hour. Converting to multiple formats counts as multiple conversions (e.g. 1 image → 4 formats = 4 conversions).

Limits reset automatically every hour. Need more? Upgrade to Pro for uninterrupted processing.
What image formats are supported?
ImageBun supports JPEG, PNG, WebP, and AVIF for all users. Pro users additionally get TIFF support.
Can I convert to multiple formats at once?
Yes! Select up to 4 formats (PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF) and ImageBun will generate all versions automatically. Each output includes its own download option with size and compression savings.
Can I upload entire folders?
Yes. Pro users can drag and drop entire folders. ImageBun converts all images inside and preserves the original folder structure in the downloaded ZIP file.

Free users can upload individual files.
What's the maximum file size?
Free users: up to 10 MB per file, 25 MP (~5000×5000px).
Pro users: up to 100 MB per file, 50 MP (~7071×7071px).
Are my images kept on your servers?
No. Images are processed in memory and automatically deleted after conversion. Converted files are returned directly to you without any persistence.

We only collect anonymous usage statistics (file size, format, compression savings) to improve the service.
